A young man majoring in English returns home from college and struggles with his attraction to a high school girl. Torn between prudence and love, he spends his time on the family farm in the hills of southern Ohio chasing cattle, putting out brush fires, and creating a fantastical world that combines classical mythology, the supernatural, and the deepest of human emotions. When this world comes crashing down upon him, he finds himself having to choose between holding on, or letting go.
